77 Spirits
Project Overview
To put it simply, I was involved in a mockup project for 77 Spirits. 77 Spirits is a Vancouver-based company that imports rum from around the world and distributes it to retailers. They asked me to create a mockup for a website with higher quality than their current website, so I got to work.
Point of the Project
77 Spirits expected me to evaluate the quality of the website design. When I tackled it, I have to keep in mind below 4 points.
- The client wants web design to convey to customers and stakeholders that they are trustworthy employees and a company.
- The client wants to make more profits through web design.
- Customers believe that a user-friendly site will help them achieve their own goals.
- The website contains the information stakeholders need when doing business with the client.

About Contact
In Contact, we have omitted the description of email addresses and phone numbers and have only included an email form. The reason for only including an email form is to make it easier to manage by having only one inquiry form. In particular, if the email address registered in the inquiry form is different from the email address registered in the form, it can be a hassle to manage. Also, for customers, copying and pasting email addresses from a smartphone can be a hassle, as they have to copy and paste unnecessary information as well. One of the reasons we have centralized our inquiry forms is to eliminate such hassle.
About Footer
Finally, about the footer. The most notable thing about the footer is that it includes a map. The reason for including a map is that when 77 Spirits' business partners go to the 77 Spirits office, if only the address is written on the website, they have to copy and paste the address to search for the location. By including a map, they can save the trouble of searching and avoid getting lost.
